NIEWINNA.
A plant-based restaurant
in the heart of Warsaw’s Śródmieście.

In the very heart of Warsaw, on Poznańska Street – inside a modernist townhouse from 1928 – a space was created that's full of light, softness, and optimism. Born from the need to find a place where everything feels genuine – without pretending, without rush, without excess.

I designed this restaurant with those in mind who seek harmony in life. For sensitive souls, close to nature, who believe that life can be simpler and more beautiful. The vegan character of this place is more than just the menu – it's a philosophy reflected in every detail.

We used natural materials throughout the interior. Ash wood tables harmonize with the terracotta upholstery of the soft seating, while the burr wood on the waiter’s sideboard intrigues with its pattern from the moment you step in. We invited Alicante Rojo marble to the bar, pairing it with a glass display and a steel base. The exposed ceiling was painted in a very light gray-blue, making the restaurant feel more spacious. The entire space is designed so that no one feels rushed. Every corner invites you to sit down, take a breath, and simply be.

The interior also features modernist details — a simple, geometric bar composition and a logical, functional layout shaped by the flow of the restaurant staff’s work. We limited decorative elements to just the “jewelry” of the lighting and the liquor shelf.

It’s worth noting the mirror on the ceiling above the bar area. This design choice gave the heart of the space room to breathe — making it feel twice as tall.

Natural materials, a vertical garden on the walls, and mirrors that create a sense of flowing space — everything was designed with an urban idyll in mind. A little oasis in the heart of the city, where even coffee with a vegan pastry — and the atmosphere itself — taste better.
