About me

I live in Spain – a country where olives taste better, oranges ripen on the streetsand the colors have the courage to be themselves. I came here out of love for the light, the food, and the people who never seem to rush — even when they’re in a hurry. I was captivated by the texture of life, the Spanish ease of being, and the bold colors that aren’t afraid to be intense.

My name is Viola Serafin, and I’m an interior architect. I design spaces that make sense — emotionally, aesthetically, and functionally. I love diversity: of people, cultures, materials, and ideas. "How beautiful it is that we are different." - it’s the motto I live and design by.

By education, I’m an artist – I studied interior architecture and painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań. It was painting that taught me something that has become my superpower today: Sense of color. I know when beige is as warm as the sand in Valencia — and when it’s too gray to feel alive.

For over 20 years, I’ve been creating interiors — for people who want to live not only beautifully, but thoughtfully. I’ve had the pleasure of working with major brands such as TUI, ORLEN, mBank, Leroy Merlin, Celon Pharma, Piekarnie Gorąco Polecam czy restauracje ORZO, but what brings me the most joy is creating spaces where people feel at home.

Today, I mainly design in Spain and Poland, blending the local with the timeless. I choose contemporary, elegant furniture and collaborate with both Polish and Spanish craftsmen. I look for materials that have a story – and are ready to keep telling it.

I’ve co-created brands such as BetterBetter, Kdesign i Modoso Interiors. And private? I love good coffee, flea markets, the sweet scent of sun-scorched pine needles, and conversations with people who know what they're looking for… or don’t yet, but feel we’ll find it together.
